Deep Ecology for Organizations – Rewilding Social Systems
Based on the latest research in supply chain sustainability, worker retention, and ESG/SDG-inspired metrics and beyond, we blend Ecopsychology principles with deep ecology considerations to clarify organizational strategy, business ethics and supply chain shifts to support a radically healed planet effectively addressing and reversing climate collapse. This is not your average or typical course for sustainability-based initiatives. We don’t deal exclusively in dashboards or carbon credits, but instead look at the root social value of a company’s output, and ask tough questions beyond the existing norms of general reporting and small goal setting. This course will also explore revolutionary theory as it may apply to organizational reforms, and how to make tough decisions and strategic shifts in challenging labor and development environments. If you are an organizational or community leader looking to move beyond incremental change into more revolutionary strategic development structures, this course will help you chart a path in that direction that is true to your personal and organizational missions, and effective at truly bringing social and environmental change in a rapid, thorough way.
Rewilding Social Systems is also available for community leaders and aspiring entrepreneurs who are seeking to chart a new path in a truly sustainable economy, where every worker thrives, business models support democratic and ecological systems that surround them, and the mission drives the necessary change we seek for a more verdant, and equitable world.
